The late 2.5DTi was common rail I believe, but only for the Opels (Europe).

Not with a Vauxhall badge - we got the 2.2DTi instead.

Hmmm, it would be nice to put that engine in mine, as I bet it is a tad more economical. 8-)

I've toyed, in the past, with the thought of buying one from eGay.DE, bringing it back and converting it to RHD. A lot of work mind for a late 2.5DTi though.

Would that be easier than buying the lump only Lee? I would have thought swopping the engines would, on the face of it, be simpler, although someone on here did some sort of 'lunatic' conversion recently, but I believe it worked. :y
