Title: Omega Not Starting

Hi everyone and a happy new year for tomorrow!

My omega is not starting. The battery is ok it just turns over but doesn't start. Has anyone got any ideas?

No I didn't notice any but I'll double check tomorrow.

as an initial estimation, if you dont hear any firing and sure its turning over you may have fuel problem..

Yes thanks Cem, I thought that but don't know what to do apart from adding petrol.

What's the weather like there by the way?

Crank shaft sensor? Just a thought if your fuel is still pumping.

Pump won`t deliver fuel if C/S knackered :y

rainy yesterday, today a bit colder playing between 3-7 celcius :y

have you tryed with foot down to floor on accelerator and start engine, see if its flooded.

Well I eventually got some paperclips after searching the house and not finding a single one.  I get a fault code 19 as someone suggested I might.

Is this the crankshaft sensor?

It looks quite tricky!

I forgot to mention - I got code 19 with the engine off obviously as it won't start.  Could there be other faults or would it be just the crankshaft sensor?

Hmmm. Maybe it depends on hand size. I found trying to shove my shovels down the back of the engine working half-blind a complete nightmare!

Yes it does seem a bit fiddly!
