Wed of this week i popped over to see ffcgary to sort out getting an exhaust he had for sale.
sorted out with Gary about getting it collected, i have an account with Parcel 2 go so i decided to use them.
We didn't have a post code but i gave them a full address that would get them to the location, on their site there is no stipulation for post code, but i understand how helpful they can be as i used to be a courier driver.
The accepted the job, took the payment and confirmed with an email. the following day i then got an email saying the courier had rejected the job as they didn't have a post code >:(
phoned parcel 2 go, they were rude and unwillng to do anything to help. I need the exhaust by the weekend as i need to get this job done, parcel 2 go suck, they commited to doing a job and then backed out.....
i have cancelled my account and told them to shove their business where the sun doesn't shine

Don't try the lot I work for!

My complaint is with City Link, for being too efficient !. They tried to deliver one day, nobody in so they left a card saying it had to be collected, so I made a special detour the next day to pick it up. However they had decide to deliver it that day after all so my detour and time was wasted :-X

It's about time these couriers had a "don't bother to deliver it cos I won't be in" box to tick. I buy quite a lot of stuff on line. It all comes by courier, I'm rarely at home during the working day so it's a complete waste of diesel them trying to deliver it but they all seem to try for a couple of days before giving up whereby I collect it from the depot. >:(

Amtrak have a 100% failure record for me, so now I don't buy from companies that use them

there's a couple of shops round here that'll take parcels in for you. much handier than travelling all the way to a depot i reckon! I don't know what (if anything) the shops charge tho, as i'm often in during the day!
but seems like a useful service to office types :)

Funny, I had to complain about the rudeness towards two of the girls in my office the other day, from a CityLink driver. I phoned their customer service line and was told that I would need to phone another department. I wasn't going to go round the houses and told them that, unless they got a manager to call me back, I would phone their customer and complain to them instead.
I had a call from the depot manager within 10 minutes. :y

Well i sent a parcel to Germany via Parcel 2 go on Tuesday and it arrived on Friday..Quicker than the shambles of a postal system we have here in the UK.

Ive used parcel2go quite a few times and they have done the business for me.
