Title: check coalant level on computer

hi my 2.2 facelift has just brought up check coolant level but the level is fine i am thinking the sensor, just wondering where is it and can i do it myself?

oh one other thing what sort of mpg should i be getting with this 2.2 manual 2002

Unsure of the MPG but the sensor is part of the expansion bottle.  Not available seperately, I understand, but about £35 or so for a new bottle or get one from a breaker on here....   :y

It`s a 'reed' switch and float moulded inside and connected underneath the plastic expansion/header tank; there`s a two wire connector on the loom-cable termination.
A spring clip secures the header tank end to the off-side metalwork, then slide the tank slightly towards the engine and lift/tilt it to be able to see the sensors connector. :y
