Title: heater bypass valve location facelift

Is the heater bypass valve located in the same place behind the scuttle on the facelift. as it is on the V6?

yes at the rear of the engine

i saw on 2,2 dti a thing like that near the injection pump in front of the car.. is taht hbv or something else??

 dont rule this out just yet as a previous  one I changed looked ok at the first glance but once I had removed it and replaced it I could see where it had been leaking from .HTH as it will be a bummer if isnt the HBV

Mine's a V6, but the last time I changed my HBV it only leaked when the a/c was on. Varying set temps on the heater has a varying effect on whether it leaks.
