2 things...1st is does anyone know anyone that can debadge my elite from hampshire??i tried today and got quoted 175 :( :( 2nd is are any of the performace chips on ebay orth getting and easy to fit???
-
Debadge ??? Do it yerself..simples..
Performance chip....NOT worth the money for the small difference they make...
-
debadging involves using a hot air gun to melt the glue backing the badges but i thinkg the main vauxhall badge maybe pinned which in that case you would be left with a pair of holes which i geuss you could just put grommets in.
-
As said before de badge your self, ECU chips eay to fit, more of an MPG improvement than noticed power, dont pay too much for one.

Debadging is a great way of disguising a low end model.
Elite is top end - people will now think you have put Elite wheels on a 2.0GLS

thanks everyone ill leave them on..

As the main reason for debadging is to hide a low spec model I think having the word Elite and the 3.0 badge gives a tiny bit of satisfacation.
It isn't like the car is plastered in words, and also the worst looking bit is the V grill.

Chipping, it all depends, some work some don't.
best tuning would be 2.6/3.2 exhaust manifolds - they flow a lot better
