Title: Engine lag

Hi all
I just picked up a lovely 1998 R 2.5td estate and was told by the dealer that there is a bit of engine lag when to de acserarate, but what I think is happening is that the car is stalling, has any one herd of this problem

Try the paperclip test and see what codes are stored ;)

Thanks but the dealer tried this and no fult codes were there
