Used this today to check my MoT as it says on it an advisory note was issued but the dealer didn't give it to me, very useful site, all you need is you reg and MoT certificate number.

'tis a good and useful site ...

I used it to check a motor I was looking at for SWMBO .. the guy couldn't understand why I wrote down MOT details then said I was off for lunch ....   5 minutes outside a McDonalds and the lappy told me it had 5 advisories he had failed to mention ....  went to the pub for lunch and didn't go back to see him  :)

Lucky for me its not bad news, just pads, disks and bushes. I have access to a workshop so its just parts and a few beers for the techie!

That site is really useful - I had 3 advisories... news to me!!

I shall definately be using this for future car purchases.
