Just got the Mig today and came up on cold engine start and pull away. misfire stoped when I got home and re-started engine, but have the burning oil smell inside the car so I'm thinking cam cover as there is small signs of mayo under filer cap and she has done next to no miles in past year. will have to have coil packs off and have a look but am due to start a 84 hour week in the morning NICE.

I hope you get a load of time off at the end of a working week like that  :o. The longest I do is 64hr but then have 6 days off to make up for it.  :y

Thanks Nige but EML is now out for the moment just like to find what I need to replace. I have asked if I can go next weekend but no reply yet as looks like Guffer has been up to his eyes in it this week.

Andy,

To be fare 36 hours of that is overtime I normally do 48 hour week and get four days off, still the tax man will be happy :'( :'(

At least this one has a working EML I hope !!!  :)

If the EML is out, but you get the code flashes on the pedal trick, then the faults are stored ones not active ones .. :)

If you do end up going to Franborough let me know your timings .. we might be able to "convoy" there, perhaps even meet others travelling the M4 at Membury services ???
