Hi was going to use the guide http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1204142232
to convert oil filter but I could not seem to get a 27mm socket located on the hollow nut, took a few photos as was unable to view it any other way, but allas the photos don't really help me.
Am I missing something?
For now I have replaced filter with insert until next time when I would like to try again

yeh just won't locate!
I had spent nearly an hour getting the cap off and had had enough so maybe the patience was a factor but It just did not seem to sit on, tried to photo it to see if nut was damaged, it certainly does not feel like the edges have much to locate on

They are not all 27mm headed bolts.....some require a large allen headed drive to locate in the centre of the bolt.

Just glad that it was not a nut that had been damaged.
Might be worth someone adding to the manual the bit about the allen key

Wasn't aware some were different when I wrote the how2. I have asked admin to add the extra info.

Mine needed a 12mm hex drive to get the centre nut out of the base of the canister.
