Have been down to the dealers today and asked for said gasket, the man told me that mine is a late engine and the gasket is diffo (part No.V0055351456) is this correct for this engine Y32SE/08747241 / Its a 03 elite estate
If this number is correct can I still use the same number listed on here for the other parts I need for the job or are they diffo to? :-? :-?

Hi,
mine is a 03 plate 3.2 saloon
Just to make you aware my covers on the computer showed the newer type, however when Daz , Darth Loo Knee changed them they were the older style ones...
Might be worth , if you can , take them off before ordering them.
If you ask Daz Im sure he will know the part numbers .
Regards

I've put them on order today but if they are incorrect the dealer best have his running bats on and a set of correct ones with a good discount ;D ;D

Update wrong carpass for the car looks like there has been a cock up along the lines. will have to go back this week and give correct details. :-[

Yes the very late cars do have a different gaskest. Give the dealer (or me) your reg number and will confirm

The newer gaskets are joined together so its one gasket per cam cover and they're slightly cheaper as well IIRC ;)
