I tend to change my water pump every other cambelt (so about every 70k).  Mind you, last time I did it, water pumps were only £25 ;D

Tradeclub.

For V6, use the Vectra 3.2 one.

For 2.0 16v and 2.2, use 24409355 (doesn't appear to be TC item)

Not so much of a concern for proper omega drivers, but needs doing with the cambelt for us mere four potters ;)

Ahh .. I was going on misread info (i.e. the 4pots :)) and what I've done on other cars.. then again, going on TBs rate I should do it now.

I think a more pressing need is the thermostat, mind (an infinitely less pleasurable job, from what I've read!) .. and I'm running out of funds this month (and then scared myself by looking at next month and realising that salary-mortgage-standing outgoings (i.e. water rates etc)=£100 left over for food & fuel. Er. Oh dear!)

;D ;D To be fair I could do with not eating for a while ;)

Though I miscalculated, it's more like £500 - I forgot I won't get stung for quite as much tax next month - so I can eat, yay! But probably won't go buying another £300s worth of service parts ;)
