Title: Do I or Don,t I ?
Post by: amba on 26 February 2011, 22:43:25
Is it necessary to have the wheels realigned(W.I.M) after replacing rear springs/shocks and donuts ....as since changing mine I seem to be getting a vibration felt through the drivers seat when I am just..slightly !!! over the national speed limit.

It is only felt at high speeds on Motorways and doesn,t seem to go if you try and drive through it.

As I have a slight noise from the front o/s I am suspecting the wishbone bushes may be on their way out.

Assuming a trip to WIM is scheduled which would be a  full day out  I wouldn,t want to find they are unable to do a "full job" due to the wishbone conditions. If I took a set of new Lemforder bones and drop links ,do they offer a workshop facility to fit these, and has anybody any experience of them doing this extra work...and an indication of potential costs.
