I have the 3 three prong type on mine and this morning i went to remove a wheel and two of the prongs snapped, are they easy to get hold of or is there a way of removing the old ones so i can just buy a new set.......

Sorry to hear that.
It is a curse that regularly happens to folk. poor design. My local dealer angle ground flats onto mine(it understandably damaged the alloy wheel) and then got a tool onto it all at his expense even though it was Kwikfit that broke the 3 pin tool with an air gun. Ever since I am the only person that takes off or puts back on my 3 pin locking nuts.
You can buy a new one BUt you need to know the part number of the one you have as there are different designs. I think the fast fit depots have a special tool that they can force over certain damaged locking wheel nuts.
Doesn't help you but someone else will be along to give perhaps more practical help.

But I would advise using an impact socket ;) ;)
I took mine off ages ago and binned them, replacing them with normal bolts. At the end of the day they're standard wheels so not exactly desirable ::)

I have done loads like this :y but like lazytinker says use an Impact Socket
