anyone got any experience of a cadillac sts?
-
been in one, otherwise, no. sorry.

took one out for a test drive a few weeks back, not a bad car if you can get over the cheapish interior.
the 3.6 sport luxuary is the one to go for, has all the toys, the 2.8 comes in two models, sport (base) sport luxuary, but it doesn't have the bose stereo with sat nav that the 3.6 does.
fantastic value for money, an 18 month old one with less than 10000 miles is about 10-14K that is a lot of car for the money.
styling is a bit quirky, overall not a great deal bigger/wider than an omega.
Parts only seem to be available from Stratstone, they have the sole dealer rights in the UK, not sure about common issues, the very early CTS were runing 2.6 and 3.2 that had more than a passing resembance to the miggy lump ::)
depreciation looks to be horrible on them, this could be due to the fact there aren't a lot of them and yank tanks dont have a good name over here, Top Gear tested one about 2 years ago an Hammond commented that they handled well and looked to be good value, Clarkson then pointed out that the sounded tinney when you tap them or close the doors, not the quality feel yo would expect
i am still undecided about them, it was the sucsessor to the Catera in the US
aside from that, sorry not a great deal of experience ;)

:-/Don't know much but would like to find out.
Waiting for more depreciation! 8-)

There a smart car, i have looked at a few of them but hand on heart i would rather the Chrysler 300c.

cos its from the states would there be an Auto do you think
just seen GBs links
-
RWD, they have a fair spattering of toys, the sport luxury has leather as an option on the 2.8 and std on the 3.6
most of the ones i have seen are auto, although i believe a manual is available

I suggest asking here.

And FYI, the Catera's sucessor is the CTS.
