Title: poor hot starting

2.5 td starts first time every time when cold but is a pig to start once it gets warm,any ideas chaps. >:(

Possibly crank or cam sensor - i always get mixed up which one is usually the main culprit - someone will i'm sure be able to shed more light soon!

That would be case on V6/2.2 petrols, but not the diesel lump.

How old are the glow plugs?

Glow plugs are fine but don't seem to operate when car is hot.It ALWAYS starts first time every time when cold.
