can anybody tell me if the pipe that goes from the hbv valve to the engine is pain to do cos mine has just gone pop and when it went i had no heating and car was smoking like hell,and temp was on 100 degrees :( :( :( :(

Access is the issue... Remove the plenum and possibly the scuttle (although with the plenum off you may not need to) and Robert is your Mother's Brother :y
Pipe will probably be special order ;) And don't forget you'll need to top the coolant up with a 50:50 mix :y

yeah pipe went on me when reving up the gears to speed up just seen loads of smoke out of the back,and steam coming out of the back of the bonnet,i am bloody sick as hell,nursed car home ,i think any more problems with this thing and it will be going to the bloody breakers >:( >:( >:( >:(

Now then Geoff! Omega ownership is character building, you will come out of this with a much lighter wallet but with the priceless ability to take everything in your stride mate :y....................................Probably! ;D

did pipe today had to strip wiper cover all the injector intake had to come off was a bitch to get at then put it all back together and ran like shit on tick over,was leeking from idle control valve where it goes in to intake resealed it and as good as new :y :y :y :y

once the scuttle & wiper assembly is out of the way there's loads-ish of room to do the hbv, no need to remove the plenum too ;)

it was the pipe that comes of the hbv that goes in the back of the engine the single one had blowen where it fits on to the engine,so had to strip[ it all :( :( :( :( but all sorted now :) :) :) :) :y :y :y :y
