My mate has an issue with his reversing lights. He's checked bulbs, connections and fuses but no joy. The switch itself is next on the list.
I'm assuming it's on the gearbox. What's the easiest method of access ?

Hope he has checked the wiring going to the boot lid, common problem. ::)

Auto or manual? ;)
Part of the selector if auto, separate plunger type switch if manual ..... but no idea where it is. :-/

Doh !! Yes, that would be useful to know. ::)
It's a manual mini F/Lift .
I'll check with him regarding whether he's looked at the boot lid wiring. :y

The wiring goes up the nearside boot hinge, and gets brittle & breaks. :y

Just sent him a text to check the wiring. :y

IIRC it's on nearside of gearbox! ;)
Many motor factors sell 'em - including "Good ol' Nige" ;D ;D ;D

Spoke to my mate this afternoon. He's checked the boot lid wiring and it does look a bit suspect. He's gonna have a closer in the next day or so.
Glad to hear 'Good ol' Nige' is still going strong, what with so many places going under these days. :y

Okay G; keep us posted mate! ;)
I'm looking at advertising another 'half-price sale' at his place soon - so should be a barrel of laughs (for me anyway!)
