Post by: rickmv6 on 18 March 2011, 13:39:59
hi just been to vauxhall as i need 2 new rocker gaskets as mine are leaking they have told me mine can only be bought as a set which is rocker gasket and rocker cover at a cost of just over £100 for passenger side not sure on drives side. does anybody know if this is right as seems a bit steep i thought.  thanks in advance rick.

No, its not true. You can buy the gaskets and o rings for the bolts seperately. People buy them all the time. You will also need the correct VX sealant.

Im suprised, they are normally quite good, I do tend to give them the numbers a lot of the time though.

I picked up a set a week or 2 ago from there, (invoice next to me as it happens) so know they can.
2 x 90511451 - gaskets
16 x 90411826 - o rings
1 x 90485251 - sealant
