Title: diff question again

As you look at the diff ther is a gear cog both sides should these be showing and thay are dry is this ok

..same on mine. I'll assumed an educated guess that it's to do with the traction control mechanism - but that is only a guess.... :P

They are what the ABS sensors  look at to determine if a wheel locks up or to tell the TC a wheel has lost traction. If you look at your hubs at the front you'll find another two.

Thanks, i have ABS but not  traction controle my wheels just spin in mud grass and snow

as your car is a 2.2 you don't have enough bhp to wheel spin .......  ::) ::) ::)  ;)
TC uses the ABS sensors on V6 cars.  :y :y :y

Asking because i want to waxoil under the car dose it mater if i get oil on the gears

Don't cake 'em in waxoil, but a bit on them won't hurt.  :y
