Hi guys
The old girl has just failed due to "Nearside front (idle) arm has relative movement at its fixings [2.2.B.1h]".
Couple of questions. Is this what I know colloquially as a "track rod end"? I need to source a new bit and I want to ask for the right part! Ideally, does anyone know a part number and a decent supplier (ie "cheap"!) of steering bits?
And is there a "How To" guide here for doing the job? I'm presuming I'll need my tracking checked afterwards.
As for the rest of the test: at 200k miles old a CO level of 0.014% (0.2% max), an HC of 19ppm (200 max) and an idle CO of 0.01% (0.3 max) ain't bad, eh?
Cheers guys!

Brilliant! Thanks! Looks pretty straightforward (I think I have a balljoint splitter somewhere at the bottom of my toolbox - I've never developed the "two-hammer" knack!)
Just checked on Eurocarparts and they're £45. Seems a lot; is it worth me shopping around?

Oops! Ignore the request for parts info! I must have missed that bit at first reading!
Ta, again!

45 notes is not bad !

Got it from these guys in the end http://www.vauxhallworldparts.com/index.php. £35 delivered.
And rather than get skinned knuckles (and take hours into the bargain!) I got a local mechanic to put her up on the ramp and change it in five minutes. Cost me a score.
Thanks for your help all!!
