I'm running my 3.2 elite on vxl semi skimmed 10W-40. I've just been looking back through my notes to see when I last changed it, and at what mileage...
Last change was 5th July 2010 at 94982... Mileage has just clicked over 100k now.
So if I change it now, it would be an interval of 5k or 9 months...
Does this sound like about the right interval, or should I be doing it more/less regularly?
TIA :y

I do mine every 6mths or 2500 miles :y

I do mine every 5000 miles .. but I'm running LPG which is slightly cleaner .. :)

Sounds like I need to be getting my hands dirty a bit more often then! SWMBO will be pleased... :-/

If you get a Trade Club card through Autobahnstormers for just £20 vauxhall oil becomes very very cheap ...
I'll log onto the site and check the price in a moment
EDIT
On the buy three get four offer .. 5 ltr bottles .. so 20 ltrs oil .. £34.80 + VAT = £41.76
"proper" price is £28.10 + VAT = £33.72 for 5 ltrs !! so £134.88 for 20 !!
You save £93.12 on your very first visit !!!
:)
At that price its easy to do an oil change every 5000 miles !!

Already with you on that one Nigel! Been a member of ABS for a while, amd the TC card is well used! :y
Remind me, how much oil does a 3.2 need for a change... 5 or 6 litres? :)
-
Its a tad more than 5 ... I know it gets a full 5 then topped up from the other one .. :)

5.75 Litres for a V6. :y

6 months Paul? You're just not trying... ;D
