Title: Estate Bottom of the rear quarter
Post by: venom on 11 April 2011, 23:22:54
Does anyone know if you can buy this part of the panel on it's own because as far as I can make out it must connected to the quarter panel but cant find them either?

A quick 'Google' found this...
http://www.vauxhall-car-parts.co.uk/acatalog/Omega_Body_Panels.html

They have this listed...
"90494431 - VAUXHALL OMEGA SALOON REAR QUARTER LOWER PANEL - Passenger side"
..so maybe they can source you a quarter.

Also notice they have brand new rear doors for fourty squid!

9148373      REAR QUARTER OUTER PANEL (LOWER) (LH) (FOR ESTATE)
Vauxhall OMEGA
Available From: FROSTS CARS LTD, SHOREHAM BY SEA, WEST SUSSEX       £170.86 (inc. VAT)
RRP £352.80

A quick rummage on car parts connexion produced this :y

not sure if its face lift or not :-/

That lower panel is definitely part of the rear wing and is the only significant difference between face lift and pre face lift body shells. :o

Rear quarter panel is made up from 5 pieces:
1. main wing panel, (above trim line)
2. lower panel, (below trim line) note pre facelift panel will fit behind facelift bumper. o/s one on mine is p/f/l.
3. rear lamp housing.
4. filler panel below rear lamp housing.
5. reinforcing panel. (creates box between outer and inner wing below lamp housing).

If the damage is only below the trim and on the bumper, just bolt a facelift bumper on. Don't even need to change the rubbing strips as they're separate.

When I replaced the o/s/r wing on mine, the only panel I could get was pre facelift, so I know it will fit on. :y

HTH,

Al. :y
