Title: what pipe is this?

Hi guys, my x25dt engine is leaking oil just over the arrow, what pipe is this? what can I do for this? :-/

im not 100% but is this the oil feed pipe for the turbo

Not an expert on tractors either but yes, It's certainly either a feed or return pipe for the turbocharger lubrication. Looking at the block, I'd say there's an oilway just where it attaches and another port further down by the sump with no pipe connected so that makes it the feed line.

Regarding how to stop it, it depends how it attaches to the block. I guess clean the area up, remove the pipe and reassemble using some thread sealant where it screws into the block.

From memory both ends are banjo bolts in this case, so remove, clean up and then refit with new copper washers and that should stop the leak :)

Thanks guys, you're right , that's  the pipe that feeds turbo, the leak is very easy to fix :y [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]
