Are there pad wear sensors onboth front and back.(,03 2.2)?

Front only, and I believe that year has only one on pas side....?

Fitted new pads front&back.Pad wear wire snapped so blanked off but brake pad warning still coming up.Wire not earthing against anything.Any ideas?

Fit a new wear sensor perhaps?? £8 from the dealer IIRC

The wear sensor is a loop of wire embedded in plastic. When it wears away it takes the wire with it and breaks the electrical circuit. A paper clip in the socket should close the circuit and stop the message coming up on the display until you can get a new one.

cut the sensor off and join the ends together and tie it up out the way, that will shut it up till you get a new sensor - and wont risk rusting in the socket like a paperclip can  :y

Spliced the wires,readout gone.I,ll get a new sensor after bank holiday.Thanks again.
