I've just replaced my front wish bones, now the correct way of doing them up is 120nm then followed by IIRC 30 degrees then 15 degrees no problem so far, but how do it you can't get the gauge on the front horizontal bolt as there is no way I can get my gauge in the space available with out a 3ft extension past the front bumper.
Cheers

When i did mine I pulled the torque wrench through another 45 deg by noting where the wrench was when it clicked, and geusstimating where it should be 45deg furrther on which is 1 eighth of a turn.

That's great mate as I was thinking of counting the amount of clicks it takes to do 45 degrees but wasn't sure if that would work

If it's clearance you need, I jack the car high enough to place ramps under the wheels then torque the bolts wheels loaded on the ramps.
Or, do the bolts up tight as you can on the floor, note the orientation of the plastic end cap on the bush. Re jack the car to give ground clearance and do the bolts up correctly having noted the plastic end cap orientation hasn't move.
Wheels must be loaded though. :y

Cheers it's not ground clearance It's getting the degree gauge in for the horizontal bolt with out having to come past the front bumper on a long extension bar

Just guess it, 45 degrees is easy to guess ;)

Yep thats what I did but I was trying to do it as VX recommend 1st @ 30 deg then 2nd @ 15 deg :y which is a little bit harder to guess those 30 & 15
