Title: Leaking fuel bleed value - quick fix?
Post by: chrisdb on 23 April 2011, 10:29:10
Hi all, I've found that the fuel bleed valve is leaking and I'm hoping that will account for the strong petrol smell that I get. As I can't get a replacement for a while does anyone have ideas on what temproary what quick fixes I could do? The cap still goes on securly but I'm guessing that it's not really air tight.

try a metal cap with ptfe tape on the thread on the valve  this is at your own risk though and would only be a very temporary soloution :y
