Title: could it be the thrust washer

 Hi all everythings been fine with the omega untill today when travelling home the autobox seem to have trouble changing it seemed to have changed but had trouble feeding it to the rear if that makes sense to any one :-? could it be the thrust washer or something (hopefully) simple

whats on the clock, and is your car chipped?

The fitted gearboxes are a little on the flimsy side for the car (AR25)

It could be thrust washer - that would be more clunky though iirc.

could just be low / old fluid, thats your best starting point

If high mileage though > 100,000, I would think about getting an AR35 off one of the breakers here and fitting that rather than risk wasting money on a fluid change.  Fluid cost etc is 1/2 that of a 2nd hand box. (about £100)

cheers jimbob its not clunky it feels like a slipping clutch if it was a manual if that makes sense :-? ill try topping up the fluid later and go from there!
