On the way back from Clacton last night, noticed the LPG display wasnt lit up. Tried pressing the button which switches it between gas/petrol - nothing, no lights lit.
Have just been out and started the car and left it running for 10 minutes or so to see if it would switch over to gas once it warmed up but it didnt. Was hoping to hear the clickety click og LPG injectors running, but no.......
Have checked the inline fuse in the loom in the engine bay and its ok. No idea where to look now. :(

There may be a second fuse in the loom, quite near to the ECU.
I assume you've checked that you haven't accidentally switched it off (pressed the button on the gauge)?
-
Yes Paul, I have pressed the on/off button several times, but there isnt any life at the guage at all.No lights lit, so no power getting to it. I will have a look for another fuse.
Why couldnt it have happened a few days earlier ? like last Friday, could have had you/TB/Gixer available to have a look then. ::) :D
I think the Essex meet jinxed it tbh. JCB asked me how it was running and I said "sweet as a nut John, doesnt give me any problems whatsoever ". Famous last words eh ? ::) ;D

Problem solved. The fuse I had looked at was the one near the ECU.I found the other one (near the battery) and found it to be partially out of its holder. Pushed it back into place and voila - LPG back in action. :)
Thanks to Lazytinker for nudging me in the right direction, as I didnt know there were two fuses. :y

I do have my uses... Not many, but some! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Glad you got it sorted :y :y
You should have just rung me, would have saved you scratching your head this morning ::) ::) ;D ;D

Oi, Albs, that cripple only knew there were 2 fuses as he himself spent hours finding a fault with his - even getting a replacement ECU in the process...
So don't feel bad ;D ;D

True :-[ :-[ :-[
But even Teilo didn't realise there were 2 on the loom I had. The newer ones only have the one ;) ;)
