question... where would the sat nav computer/optical drive tray be if not on the transmission tunnel behind the centre console??

Looks nice :-*
Can't help on the sat nav, I'm afraid.

Thats the Carin Sat Nav screen :y
-
Thats a nice Elite Max and fully spec as well, Sat Nav, CCRT 700 with built in phone :y
-
ah right, where is the TC button re-located too?
Nice car!
-
Its in the row above with all the other switches :y
-
The CCRT700 head unit is the only real change from My other one (JamesV6 is having the old elite..... as his new project , top end rebuild required.. )
they're even identical in colour....
no learning curve to speak of.....
this one also has FSH and some "warranty" (probably not worth the paper, but it inspires a modicum of confidence.... )
been nosing about and haven;t yet found anyone slagging off the dealer..... YET....
paid a deposit on it yesterday... should pick it up tomorrow lunchtime
SO , it looks like the Telford meet is on my calendar !
Yeee haaaawww :D
-
Nice looking car Max :y
Us Elite estate owners must stick together ;D
-
I put the dealer's details in to Google.... and got loads of hits...
then I put it in and included variations on the theme of "Complaint" "unsatisfactory" "ripped off" "trading standards"
nearly all came back as "did not match ANY documents"
the one that did, was them directing anyone who might have a complaint , in how to contact their relevant management ...... and action a complaint.
so far I've found references to them as being approved by their local trading standards, and council , and not one bad word said about them in any of the auto type forums....
all in all, i'm feeling relatively relaxed and at peace with my decision....
:D
-
Bloody hell Max you travelled a fair way for that :o
-
What's the cambelt history mate?
(seeing as I'm going to be spending a fair time in your neck of the woods, and I have the kit....) ;)
-
Dunno precisely yet James, I'll check the documents when I get there tomorrow...
-
A cambelt party in 4 weeks :y
-
I hope to be there whether or not I need anything sorted Jaime.... :D
the thing has a full documented service history and 1 previous owner form new. , which ought to theoretically mean it doesn't currently desperately need a Cam belt.... , assuming servicing was carried out to spec all the way thru... but even if that is the case, I bet it probably could do with a water pump.....
we'll see.
