Title: Clearing codes???
Post by: DTC on 12 May 2011, 15:04:19
Hi,

I have recently changed the cambelt on my V6 and it is running sweet as a nut - the only problem is I have the spanner light on the dash. The pedal trick comes up with 0100 (MAF). I know it's definately nothing to do with the timing as I used the correct timing kit.
Is there any way or trick of clearing the codes and re-setting?

If spanner still on, it probably is MAF related - but first check you have no air leaks introduced which playing with the belt.

If you have access to a proper code reader thats any good, look at the live data readings for the MAF :y
