Title: uneven braking, front.

hi all. my omega has one problem left - uneven braking in the front. it's about 1.8kN left and 3kN at the right side(always about 1-1.2kN difference). any thought what to do? almost everything there is new. brake discs, brake pads(dunno if I said the right thing, not my native language), main brake cylinder, brake tubes and removed air from the brake system. still the same - uneven.
If it helps - car pulls a little to the right side(that's where the brake force is larger), doesnt matter if im braking or not it does that.

slider rusty or piston stuck on the low side
take out pads again and clean everything remoiving rust and copperslip the runers where the caliper slides, work piston in and out with old pad in to stop it coming out to far  :y

well, slider is OK, that already was done few hours ago.

gonna have a look at the piston tomorrow.

theres 7min posting difference, yet when i posted. Your 'gonna have a look at the piston' post wasnt there. how did i miss that daamn internet!  >:( >:( >:( :D ;D ;D

how to get them out? just by pressing the brake pedal?
ah, remembered - sometimes, but rarely, when I release brake pedal the brake lights are still on (dunno for how long, usually im in traffic when i notice that, so there is no time for me to look all the time), does that mean a piston somewhere is sticking?
And - sometimes(but maybe a lot, dunno) when im driving in, let's say, 4th or 5th gear, when I release gas pedal car feels like it's braking(even if i put it in neutral), like I would have pressed the brake pedal, but just a tiny bit. a fix for that would be pushing piston deeper? Ehh, never had problems like these, but I like trying to fix everything by my self, so it's kind of fun. :D:D

Does it pull towards any side at that moment??

may sound daft but be sure you have exactly same pressure on both sides..

Tyre pressures? Good point, whilst checking them also check for uneven tread wear which would indicate worn or damaged suspension components, another cause of uneven braking...

id take the left caliper off the car,and blow the piston out with an airline and clean the piston up and refit it with some copper slip round it.to me it seems as youve got low efort on that side that its siezed up a bit.paul

yep, the pistons were the fault. :) cleaned both sides.
