hi
i recently been having a few issues with the omega with it running very lumpy
after checking a few things the problem was found
it was the gas regulator fitted to the lpg system
apparently its been leaking and causing a missfire on random cylinders
i went to the guy who fitted the lpg and he told me it was a rubber seal in the regulator wich had given way and caused the leak
this is the second time this seal has gone and he says its probably due to the gas not being warmed up enough
now my question is to the guys who have had their v6 converted
i need to find out wich of the cars water pipe they have used to feed the regualtor
as mine is currently been fed from the pipe that goes to the front of the plenum and its not getting hot enough

Yep... That's plumbed wrong as the flow through that pipe is minimal ::) ;) It was obviously fitted by someone who wanted to make it as easy as possible and gives me concerns for the rest of the installation :o
Anyway... The only way to guarantee a good flow is to take the feed from the "Helter Skelter" pipe from the coolant bridge to the HBV :y :y

And sorry forgot to ask would you just cut that pipe and put a conection in series

The pipe that feeds the HBV from the engine. You need to be sure your vaporiser will flow sufficiently to put it in series (before the HBV) but it should ;)
Have a look in the maintenance section, although it's a 4 pot guide it's the same principle :y

Coolant exits the engine via the coolant bridge pipe and goes to the single inlet side of the hbv. So locate the hbv at the back of the sngine and that curly shaped pipe. You'll need to remove the scuttle.
As standard its
Coolent bridge > single inlet side of hbv.
It needs to be
Coolant bridge > vaporiser > single inlet side of hbv.

I'll go to the gas installer tomorrow and get it replumbed
hopefully it should cure the problem

If he did the job and breaked it up, make sure you don't have to pay for it :y
Might be worth finding out at what temp it switches over.
What system is fitted to your car ?
