Title: Omega Data Collection
Post by: Golfbuddy on 02 November 2007, 13:15:50
We are starting to collect some meaningful data on our Omegas on the Google spreadsheet. If you are already on the list, please try to update the info when something changes. If you aren't, then you only need to let me or anyone on the list have an email address and you can enter your details so that we have a good database of info.

If you  haven't seen the spreadsheet, this is the link:

So how would I go about adding information to the other areas? Does it go through yourself??

Just PM me your email address and I will add you to the list so that you can add some data.

Incidentally, your details came from here (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1193228048).  :y

Hey, I'm there too - your secret source of info ain't bad Martin!!  ::)

A couple of questions.

How do you edit the data? It says its "View Only" spreadsheet when I go in.
In the "average speed" column, is this the average speed from the MID or average speed we normally drive at?

PM me your email address and I'll add you to the list of collaborators.

Good question on the average speed. I would say that this is the average speed on the MID for any given period of driving. So, if you do a 200 mile motorway run then that would be an average speed of 69 mph ::) But, if you want to log your average urban run then that would be say your average speed over a week's commuting.

If you like, you could start another sheet specifically for average fuel consumption. Just put the rules for posting in a cell at the top of the new sheet.

I think this spreadsheet(s) must be sticky on top or on a more visible location..The data collected will be precious if most of the members fill in   :-/

Filled in for mine. Couldn't remember what IAC and CTs stood for!!

Also may not be a problem now but in time to come none standard entries may make searching a problem. Just a thought!

Thanks for setting up spreadsheet
