It means there's a fault in the HID lights levelling system, it could be either of the level sensors on the near side front wishbone or nearside rear radius arm, or it could be the motor in either headlight. You need a code reader on the car to ask it what the problem is.  :y

apart from the obvious where the arm comes off, you can't see a fault with the sensors.  :P :P

Just left of centre in this pic of front suspension you can see the HID adjuster arm. Make sure it is still attached (ball & socket). Similar one on rear arm forward of rear wheel.

There's a sensor at the front of the car on the near side wishbone & another on rear near side radius arm, the arm has a tendency to pop off the sensor so the car is confused so throws the warning message up. Put a full lock on & have a look at the wishbone, it's obvious if the arm is off.  :y :y

As above, apart from the obvious you'll need it on a code reader to determine the exact fault.  :y :y :y

Maybe levelling motor. Do both lights adjust when switched on

As answer above  :-?
level sensor front
level sensor rear
motor of either headlight
you need a code reader ................. as above!

Jimbob stuck his code reader on it and came back with nearside headlight... the  lowbeam  field vision comes on as soon as you start the car and doesn't need to have the lights on for it to appear. Both headlights are equal in beam hight too..

Meaning? I`m sure if Jimbob put the reader on it he would have tested that the motors are working as they should :-?
