Title: MV6 Exhaust manifold gasket
Post by: John W on 11 June 2011, 08:36:07
My second MV6 has now developed a leaking exhaust manifold gasket, just like my previous one (which I never fixed!). Is there a way to replace it without removing the engine? >:(

they are doable without engine removal, but snapped studs can be a problem

O/S is doable but does require quite alot of bits removing, expect a good few hours work and expect to replace all studs and nuts .

N/S is a real pita...needs engine moving off mounts as not enough clearance, but again it is doable but only for the brave or well equiped workshop...expect good days work.

Best of luck with it.
