I will need to carry some ladders soon, any suggestion on types of roof racks for the mig.

Thule roof bars  from Halfords for saloon work well. With ladder clamps.

I have a set of thule bars and relevant omega feet... excellent they are ... :)

Keep an eye on the bay .. they crop up quite often and are very much cheaper than new.. :)
