Hi guys,when we start the MV6 up a fan kicks in for a minute or so then goes off..I have been told we can stop it doing this but how?

Secondary air injection pump (SAI) pumps air into the exhaust manifolds which helps heat the cats up, so they start working quicker. Purely for emmissions on startup. Not really needed.

Yep, emanates from passenger side under front wing

Indeed, the SAI pump, purely for an emissions reason that was never mandatory in the UK, does get noisy after a while. A simple disconnection is the solution.
I'm sure if we were that worried about emissions, we'd drive 1.0l shitboxes ;)
