Just given my 3.0 elite a coolant system overhaul as there were several blockages where it has sat for 2 years i have taken off the throttle body etc and have rebuilt it and it runs nice but it just won't rev past 4500 rpm anyone had this before??? its like it hits a rev limiter. im did think crank sensor but this hasn't been touched at all
help

Have you reattached the throttle cable correctly?
Pull it back from it's bracket on the body so that there's no slack in both the outer and inner cable, but not so tight that it's pulling the spindle open. Refit the clip.

Is the fault light on, if so what codes are stored (knock sensor?)

i have had no EML light on!! and as for the previous post i have adjusted the cable many times but still no change. also now noticed the hotter it gets the less it wishes to rev :'(

check codes anyway, not all light the lamp :y
see the code reading link in my sig.
and where are you based, someone local may have decent diag equipment to help pinpoint the problem
