Yesterday was the anniversary of my LPG estate's demise. It has sat on the drive doing nothing for a whole year!
Time to strip it down and be rid. The LPG kit I believe has some value, and I wondered if anybody on here had pointers to safe removal, and what to take off etc. Like is it worth taking all the pipes or would new ones be needed for next use anyway?
Any advice very very gratefully received.

Is it a 4 or v6 engine ?

Tank (complete with mountings and possibly filler), ECU, loom and injectors are about all I would look at buying, although now that prices have dropped there isn't as much value in a 2nd hand kit ;)
You also need to know what system it is when you advertise it ;)
Personally I wouldn't buy a 2nd hand kit as I bought everything new to convert mine and it was less than £800 :y
EBay is probably the best place to shift it though

oh and henry it's a 4 cyl. I'll ask James which kit it is as he installed it! it worked very well for me, couldn't tell it was on!

That reminds me, I have a 50% share in a 6 cylinder l.p.g. kit.
Is anybody interested in buying 1/2 a kit?

In that case I would assume it's probably a Stag4 ;)
Afraid that a brand new front end kit with all pipework (which would really need to be replaced on a 2nd hand one) is sub £300 all in ::)
May be some value to the tank though, as long as it's not approaching 10 years old.
Like I said... eBay seems to be about best for that sort of thing :y

LPG?
After many years behind the wheel in many different motors with LPG I can honestly say that the maintainance/repair costs have always outstripped the fuel costs savings and that is not taking into account the reliability (not) factors.
LPG for me - NO way. ;D

There was obviously something wrong with the setup then because all my LPG cars have needed virtually nothing extra in the way of maintenance ;)

LPG for me - NO way. ;D
Increased LPG costs ... = 1 fluid filter per year.
Decreased LPG costs... = 10 p per mile fuel costs savings
Reliability = 100% over the last 3 years. Not a single fault. (touches wood ... :( )
If I didn't buy Vx oil on TC I could almost double the oil change interval as it "appears" to be far cleaner running on LPG than on petrol .. but as new oil is the best thing an engine can ever have I'll stick to 5K oil changes regardless.
LPG a certainty for me .... should I be forced to change this car for another Omega

Which reminds me, where do I source LPG filters from please ? :-/

I consider that I've had more trouble than most (of the decent DIY installs) with LPG across both Omegas, and the Silver Bullet is well into profit, the Elite isn't yet, as its only been done a couple of months, and I don't use it much ::)
I reckon, with the Teilo kit, payback is around 7k
