Title: Transmission fluid

I would like to change it because it probably wasn't changed at all and car has 220.000 km done. Which oil/ what wiscosity should it be? It's 5-speed manual,  thanks

There is a specific Vauxhall oil to be used in a manual gearbox, & although red like ATF is different.

Thanks I"ll try to find it. Does anyone know how many liters will go in?

according to Haynes manual 1.2 litres

The manual says that there were 3 different oil used over the years and that if there is any doubt of what's in there, you should drain all the oil and use the latest specification ie tha fitted to 1999 onward : Vx transmission oil 19 40 768

(are Opel numbers the same as Vauxhal?  :-/)

I don't know about that, only went to stealers once, just to find out why "stealers"...Thanks

It's fuchs titan syntofluid 75w-80 if I'm right. Will search.for it tomorrow, thanks
