i dont think the goverment will take any notice at all and if they do will say what they did last time.High tax on fuel or less hospital beds, police
public services etc
on the whole we're slowly being priced of the road.

I've given a lot of thought to the shared space theory before. I would think that if it was ever imposed nationwide the change over period would see a huge increase in rta's especially involving pedestrians :-/

i dont think it would ever happen, as you say due to the rta rate
someone would jump on the politically correct band wagon saying i told you so when the hospitals are full of oap's  and kiddies (the hospitals wouldn't need to be full really for all the p.c b.s to start)
