I keep getting this fault and it keeps coming back after I've cleared it with "My Naff Code Reader". The airbag light stays on all the time. I've tried reseating the connector in the door but the fault comes back after a week or two.
The worst thing is that my battery keeps going flat if I don't use the car everyday.
Has anyone got any ideas? Jimbob has already given me loads of help with this but I don't want to keep bothering him as I know he's busy.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! :y :-* :-* :-*

Nobody got a clue eh! ;D ;D ;D

Not sure if I have posted in the right section? The fault is a physical connection though, right? :-[

I tried to clear an airbag fault and turn off the airbag light on Twiglets car tonight with "a fault code reader from ebay" (were not allowed to use the "O" word due to copyright legalities), It cleared the code, but the light didnt go off.
I did the same on my own car a few weeks ago and the light went off, so ?????
Maybe tech2 is the only guarenteed way to do it ? :-/

I think the sensor may have gone faulty and need changing, or the connector has come loose inside the door at the other end of the cable.
Suspect its door card off time and have a play, and if your doing that, id be tempted to have a spare to swap in at the same time.
Can you save the live data from the airbag ecu and post it up here, may give us more than just the fault code.

Assuming the wiring is OK (check loom in door, sometimes corrode), its most likely the sensor itself.
Reliable enough to use 2nd hand, so try a wanted ad in Parts for sale section :y. I know Albs and others are breaking whole cars.

Im pretty sure I only have the drivers door sensor left. Pretty sure Twiglet will haveone though. :y

Thanks very much, I'll PM Twiglet to see if he's got one. :y
