I have a 2003 2.2dti which pulls to the left all the time. It seems to be worse when there is someone sitting in the passenger seat too. Wheels and tires look fine. Is this a common problem that can be rectified or have i got myself a cut and shut????

could be a few things from tyre pressure to bindding brakes or even the tracking. Start with the trye pressure. :y

Thanks.checked the tyres, pressures etc the tracking is very slightly out but the adjusters are seized. Ill replace them and try again. Im worried ive bought a cut and shut because of this problem but it all looks original.

Nah that's almost normal. Have a look through the guide sections, wishbones steering idlers camber toe and set up etc etc, it's all there.
However, do nut just be satisfied with checking tracking. Check other settings as well. Theta more to it than that.
What's tyre wear like across the tread? Paying particular attention to the inside edge.

Front wishbone bushes are a common failure.
As already mentioned above, get a proper wheel alignment check not just tracking. Camber is what you really need to have tested.

had same problem. replaced wishbones droplinks and steering idler. but not really feel the difference till i had all steering/wheel geomerty done.. all good now and drives like a different car..

I had the same problem try swapping the front wheels round, told by a tyre fitter to do this it worked on my motor

surely that would cause the tyres to be rotating the wrong way??.........tyres are directional.

Was happening mine too. Took the rods out of my car left them sitting in WD40 over night and then got it tracked. Perfect now :)
