I thought I'd open a new post rather than tag onto Brikhead's items for sale.
What's the yellow led for? Mine like the one on the right & doesn't have one :-?

Earlier cars liked to brag about the fact that the mirrors are heated, later models didn't need to shout about it!
I've always wondered where you get all of your pictures... :y

No idea about the lead, but is it normal for these switches to take a lot of persuasion before they actually get the mirrors to move? Or is my one on its way out?
It's not the mirror motors - they move the the mirrors immediately when use the memory buttons.

Same as my MKII 2.2Carlton then, the button was in the door bin and you'd to push the 4 way switch in to switch just the heated mirors on. The later Senator B had the same mirror switch but the heated mirrors turned on with the heated rear screen.

Probably due to lack of use :(. I had similar problems with mine till I replaced it with A N Other. :y

Do you think squirting it with contact cleaner would do any good?

If you can get it inside I can't see it doing any harm - power off though, it's flamable :y
