Title: dealers or aftermarket?

As the title says is it advisable to get dealer only when purchacing a steering idler or are they all the same? what are we looking at cost wise also peeps?

I personally would buy Vauxhall.
Pretty sure last time I bought one from VX £45 ish :y

Better quality than the cheaper ones anyway. But when I was phoning around for one VX weren't much dearer :y

Well im not sure if ive done the right thing here but ive just ordered one from LMF VAUXHALL ? £34 delivered..

Aftermarket will get you through the test (sometimes) but generally fail rapidly then you have the cost all over again, and again, and again etc., Best to bite the bullet and use a trade card (or have someone with one go with you) and get the GM one.
That advice is from experience too.

Well as it happens ive just realised  something... I looked on LMF VAUXHALL but got it off ebay instead.. said it is a genuine GM part..... feel a bit of a lemon now as i should have realised before i posted my thread....

keep lookin on ebay. i got genuine one for £13 delivered and genuine wishbones for £50 delivered. right time right place i guess..
