Title: Revs in ECO mode
Post by: lou on 13 August 2011, 22:57:04
Having recently had waterpump changed, i noticed that the revs with aircon off is the same as with it on. +/- 600rpm and not the usual 500 rpm. Aircon does work and switches off with eco on with dip in revs but then returns to 600 rpm. All fans work correctlly and compressor clutch plate stops turning when switch off . Any ideas what this could be caused by?

Good point as this is a replacement Throttle body which has been polished. Incidently how do you set up the stop screw?

Set it so the butterflies FULLY close.  The electronics deal with allowing the correct amount of air in at idle.
