Can you clarify exactly where, as I'm not sure where you mean.
I picture is sometimes worth a thousand words ;)
-
The fluid would appear to be coming from the top pad of the gear stick!!
-
could be a matrix seal leak as i take it you mean it's coming from infront of the gear stick, what year is your elite :-?
-
It's a '98' model
-
Is the leak a sticky water base or an oil base :-/
-
It feels like a sticky water base fluid, definately not oil base!!
-
something leaking from sunroof dripping onto gear stick? :-/
Never heard anything like this before!! Kids spilt some squash!?
-
are the carpets wet on drivers side floor, are any other carpets wet trans tunnel front of left front foot well :-?
-
No the Driver's side or passenger carpet is not wet.
-
do you have to keep topping up the coolant

Is this coming from the black rubberised gear knob itself? Never cut one open, but could there be some sort of "gel" in there? :-/
