Title: Differences between 3.0 and 3.2
Post by: rajveer.sandhu on 26 August 2011, 15:20:30
3 questions:

Are the 3.2 Injectors the same as the 3.0v6 ones?
If not, can 3.2 ons fit on a 3.0?
If so, does anyone have some 3.2 injectors for sale?

Cheers

Why do you want replacement injectors? 3.2 ones won't make any difference to performance  :-/

I was told that they run at 60psi rather than 45psi so may help with performance.

if you want performance upgrade, only injector change wont make difference as ECU decides the fuel amount to inject depending on the amount of air passed from MAF..

you need some head work like port polishing..sport cats or de-cat, different exhaust system, intake changes and the list goes on..

No, they won't. If you put 60PSI injectors in a system running at 43 PSI, as the 3.0 does, they won't flow enough fuel.
