oh didn't know there was one!, i had a pointy thing sticking out from the block which lined up to the pulley which was a right pita as when i released the tension on the old belt it must have moved the crank about a quarter of a turn so the first start up i had a little spanner on and no power! (me thinks i got away with something!) so took out the no.1 plug found top dead centre and voila the pulley lined up on the mark but i have a feeling i may still be a tooth out (advanced on the crank) but it's got dark now and she seems to run as before but will re-check it at the next available moment, interestin waterpump setup never seen that before with just the edges of the washers holding it in, a question are cam belts always a pita to get back onto the splines because this one fought me to the point i thought i had the wrong belt! i even took the waterpump out again to make sure it was correctly aligned (as far as i could tell it was!) but there seems to be a fair old amount of tension before the tensioner tensions it!!!, anyway job done i think and if it doesn't blow up in the next couple of weeks i will have saved myself €300 (or cost myself €1000!) so fingers crossed, thanks for the quick rply by the way it's much appreciated, love this site!,Rich.
